Chimeras is a series of artwork from the collection Playing
with Old Masters. Just like Musical Chimeras, I used the
same technique – selected fragments of 16th-19th century
etchings and woodcuts, cut them up, recombine them on the computer,
colored, and created images that look like original etching. Essentially
it's digital collage, but my tongue in cheek name for this technique
is "Graphica In Silico". |
